◤題旨:
建築空間操作訓練可以從最基本的生活面與環境討論開始，但同時不斷隨時觀摩學習建築作品是設計能力養成的必要習慣，所以本練習將要求同學從案例本身的研究開始，同時不但操作環境與空間之關係，並且設計考量人體工學的空間細節，特別是處理新增空間機能與周邊環境之間的空間與形式關係。
◤題本:
以 Gwathmey Residence and Studio 案例為研究與設計對象，題目設定以此作為增建原始型態，今打算在校園中增設一處作為師生生活休閒機能而有增建的需要，內容以選定基地後討論出最適合的機能為主，原則上綜合環境與周邊相關活動的考量整體規劃，原始設計的部分隔間與立面可以作局部調整，新增的活動機能必須與周邊建築要有緊密的關係，至於基地可由規畫後的狀態於以最佳條件化設定；期望同學都能選擇適當的策略創造一全新完整的使用格局，並且又能夠兼顧整體型態的協調性與美觀。

◤Title:
Architectural space operation training can start from the most basic discussion of life and environment, but at the same time, continuous observation and study of architectural works at any time is a necessary habit to develop design abilities. Take Gwathmey Residence and Studio The case is the object of research and design. The title is set to use this as the original type of addition. Now it is planned to add a place on the campus as a living and leisure function for teachers and students and there is a need for addition. The content is mainly to discuss the most suitable function after selecting the base. In principle, the overall planning is integrated with the consideration of the environment and surrounding related activities. Parts of the original design The partitions and facades can be partially adjusted, and the new activities must have a close relationship with the surrounding buildings. The base can be set according to the best conditions after planning. It is hoped that students can choose appropriate strategies to create a new and complete use pattern, and can take into account the coordination and beauty of the overall form.

建築基本語言與工具的學習是學習建築的一關鍵性開始，本學期的設計課重點將放在循序漸進的介紹並操作建築設計中的各項基本元素與嘗試面對處理真實環境的各種基本問題，以加強訓練同學熟練建築語言與基本工具的操作。
