角落 ── 空間場所之觀察與探索 ﹝一 ~ 四﹞
題旨:
在學習建築的過程中,對環境的觀察與探索是很重要的一環,也是一關鍵性的開始,因為在人與環境的複雜關係中,建築師必須扮演著介入且能夠掌握與控制環境的角色。而要如何能有效的提出適宜的態度與看法,設計者除了先要具備敏銳的觀察力,能夠快速掌握基地環境的所有特質之外,並且要能夠善於利用工具,對於所面臨的基地做詳細的紀錄,再經由適當的討論與操作過程來獲取全面性的了解,進而提出對於基地與環境的基本策略。
本練習將開始要求同學建立對環境條件的基本態度與看法,並且同時訓練同學熟練基本工具的操作。
題本﹝一﹞: 角落空間
◤本階段將帶領同學體驗觀察環境並做完整的紀錄測繪。
※操作步驟 :
一、基地選擇; 經由自主參訪校園環境的過程,每人挑選一特定的地點;﹝選擇地點應不得與他人有重複性,若有部分重疊也僅限兩人之間;經選擇決定後,不得更換地點﹞
地點選擇的主要條件有:
1. 基地範圍為25M x 25M 。
2. 具有足夠強烈的角落空間特色或型式。
3. 選擇範圍內需兼具室內外空間,室內與半戶外面積佔總面積≧1/6且≦1/4。
4. 在範圍內的地坪應儘量包含多種材質與高低變化。
5. 地點應有讓人想停留與駐足的基本條件或機會。
二、觀察紀錄製作; 將包含各種規定的工具、方法與時間性。
三、基本圖面測繪製作; 實地測繪,繪製1/50所有標準圖面。
四、綜合圖面運用表現; 將表現對基地的觀察紀錄。
◤圖面內容要求:
完整1/50基本圖面:平、立、剖面圖。
觀察基地與四周環境的各種關係﹝動線、光影、尺度、植栽、視覺關係﹞。

◤本階段將以加入牆作為實質空間討論的開始,同時將包含模型製作練習。
※操作步驟 :
一、 平面操作;
1. 先在平面圖上也就是在基地範圍內加入一道實牆,試圖分析這道牆在基地上對空間的影響
﹝以每次只加入一道牆為原則﹞。
2. 從各種可能性與差異點中找出10種最有特色的不同位置,並且分析比較其特點。
3. 選出其中最具代表性的三道牆並置在基地上,加入不同高度的考量﹝剖面﹞作比較性的說明。
操作考量重點:
試圖以牆的介入突顯或強調出基地的空間特徵。
試圖以牆重新定義出原基地內的新空間形式。
試圖以牆絕對性的改變基地空間之使用行為。
考量不同的高度對空間影響的不同程度。
二、 模型製作; 製作 1/50比例之模型;
並以其中最具代表性的三道牆在模型上study
三、 牆面操作;
延續前面所選擇出的三道牆面持續發展與討論,在牆面上考量並操作各種可能性的變化(包含分割、垂直水平翻轉、移除等),然後比較改變前後空間之差異,重點是要試圖發展出更細膩的空間變化層次,並創造可供人休憩與有感經驗的場所。

Topic:
In the process of learning architecture, the observation and exploration of the environment is an important circle and a key beginning, because in the complex relationship between people and the environment, architects must play the role of intervening and being able to master and control the environment. In order to effectively put forward appropriate attitudes and opinions, designers must not only have sensitive observation and quickly grasp all the characteristics of the base environment, but also be able to use tools to make detailed records of the bases they are facing, and then gain a comprehensive understanding through appropriate discussions and operation processes, and then propose basic strategies for the bases and environment.
This practice will begin to require students to establish basic attitudes and opinions on environmental conditions, and to practice the operation of students familiarizing themselves with basic tools.

※Operation steps:
1. Base selection; Each person chooses a specific location through independent access to the campus environment; ﹝The selection location shall not be repeated with others, and if there is a partial replication, it will only be limited to two people; after the selection decision, the location shall not be changed﹞
The main conditions for location selection are:
1. The base area is 25M x 25M.
2. It has strong corner space features or types.
3. The selection scope requires both indoor and outdoor space, and the total area between the indoor and the half-door outside is ≧1/6 and ≦1/4.
4. The floor within the scope should contain as much material and changes in height.
5. The location should have basic conditions or opportunities for people to stay and be at ease.
2. Observe the recording and production; it will include various specified tools, methods and time.
3. Basic picture measurement and drawing; realistically measure and draw 1/50 of all standard pictures.
4. Comprehensive surface usage performance; will show the observation record of the base.
◤Paint content requirements:
Complete 1/50 basic picture: flat, vertical, and cross-sectional picture.
Observe the various relationships between the base and the surrounding environment (movement lines, light and shadow, scale, planting, and visual relationships).

◤This stage will begin with adding the wall as a practical space discussion, and will also include model making practice.
※Operation steps:
1. Planar operation;
1. First add a wall to the plane, that is, within the base area, and try to analyze the impact of this wall on the base on the space.
﹝The principle is to add only one wall at a time﹞.
2. Find the 10 most distinctive different positions from various possibilities and differences, and analyze and compare their characteristics.
3. Select the three most representative walls and place them on the base, and add different heights of considerations (sections) for comparative explanations.
Operational considerations:
Try to highlight or emphasize the spatial characteristics of the base with the intervention of the wall.
Try to redefine the new space form in the original base using the wall.
Try to change the usage behavior of the base space with the wall that is absolutely correct.
Consider the different degrees of impact of different heights on space.
2. Model production; make a model with a scale of 1/50;
And study the three most representative walls on the model
3. Wall operation;
Continue to continue the development and discussion of the three walls selected earlier, consider and operate various possibilities on the wall (including segmentation, vertical and horizontal turnover, removal, etc.), and then compare the difference between the front and back spaces. The key is to try to develop a more detailed space change layer and create a place for people to relax and have a feeling.
