Public Art and Landscape

教育目標 Course Target

一、探討公共藝術的多元內容與表現方式,建立公共藝術的美學觀,提高公眾審美文化品質與生活。
二、培養公共藝術創作與研究人才,內容包括公共空間研究、實地考察、創意構思和分析實踐技能等。
三、採取案例實作方式,研究生直接參與校園或社區公共藝術製作,並分析比較國內外現有的公共藝術作品,發掘其中的可能與問題。
四、以藝術創作者的角度思考公共藝術應該有的定位,並實際設計規劃,讓學生更瞭解在創作上該如何表現與詮釋公共藝術。

1. Explore the diverse content and expression methods of public art, establish the aesthetic concept of public art, and improve the public’s aesthetic cultural quality and life.
2. Cultivate public art creation and research talents, including public space research, fieldwork, creative conception and analytical practical skills.
3. Adopting a case implementation method, graduate students directly participate in the production of public art on campus or in the community, analyze and compare existing public art works at home and abroad, and explore the possibilities and problems.
4. Think about the positioning of public art from the perspective of an art creator, and actually design and plan it, so that students can better understand how to express and interpret public art in creation.

課程概述 Course Description

本課程在於思考與探討當代公共藝術趨勢及現象中,以公共空間中藝術形式呈現與景觀之關係為探討重點。主要內容:一、有系統的介紹公共藝術的發展脈絡,使明瞭公共藝術的重要成就、觀念與內涵。二、探討公共藝術演變的原因及經過,以及當代公共藝術的種種形式、內容及功能等。三、從探討公共性和藝術美學的特質,引導學生探索自我發展的方向和獨立創作能力。

This course is about thinking and exploring contemporary public art trends and phenomena, focusing on the relationship between the presentation of art forms and landscape in public spaces. Main contents: 1. Systematically introduce the development of public art, so as to understand the important achievements, concepts and connotations of public art. 2. Explore the reasons and process of the evolution of public art, as well as the various forms, contents and functions of contemporary public art. 3. Guide students to explore the direction of self-development and independent creative ability by exploring the characteristics of publicity and artistic aesthetics.
