本課程旨在使學生全面理解公共衛生的核心理念與全人健康觀念，並培養其促進健康、預防疾病及改善社會健康的能力。課程內容結合當代時事與重要健康議題，涵蓋衛生行政與國際衛生組織、新興傳染病與慢性病的防治策略，並著重心理健康與物質濫用對公共衛生的挑戰。課程也探討人口老化趨勢下的照護需求，包括高齡健康與長期照護議題；同時關注營養與食品安全、職業衛生與環境污染對健康的影響。學生將透過學習《公共衛生學》（第5版），系統掌握公共衛生理論與實務，並了解我國全民健康保險制度的運作與意義。

This course aims to enable students to fully understand the core concepts of public health and the health concept of all people, and to cultivate their ability to promote health, prevent disease and improve social health. The course content combines contemporary current affairs and important health issues, covering the prevention and treatment strategies of health administration and international hygiene organizations, new infectious diseases and chronic diseases, and focusing on the challenges of mental health and material use on public health. The course also explores the care needs under the trend of population aging, including high-age health and long-term care issues; at the same time, focus on the impact of nutrition and food safety, professional hygiene and environmental pollution on health. Students will learn "Public Health" (5th Edition) through the system to master public physiology and practice, and understand the operation and meaning of our national health insurance system.
