本堂課以社會學理論為基礎，試圖回應各種當代思潮與議題。社會學理論以Norbert Elias、Niklas Luhmann、Michel Serres與Bruno Latour為閱讀重心，他們曾經談及文明、知識、人文主義、生態等議題；當代思潮則以數本中譯版新書為主，包含（但不限於）各種學科領域對於各種議題的思考，如法哲學、政治哲學及倫理學對於性傾向、少數群體、國家、生態的討論。希望透過課程中的深度閱讀，能夠以社會學理論觀察其他學科領域的論述。This class is based on social theory and tests to respond to various contemporary thought trends and topics. Social theory focuses on Norbert Elias, Niklas Luhmann, Michel Serres and Bruno Latour. They have discussed issues such as civilization, knowledge, humanism, and ethics. Contemporary thoughts mainly include (but are not limited to) the thinking of various topics in various subjects, such as legal philosophy, political philosophy and ethics discussions on sexual orientation, a small number of groups, countries, and ethics. I hope that through in-depth reading in the course, I can observe the discussions in other subject areas with social theory.
