Special Topics in Insect Conservation Biology (I)
教育目標 Course Target
昆蟲的保育有別於其它陸上脊椎動物，保育類的保護需要更兼顧棲地品質及所賴以為生的寄主植物。如何做好保育工作除了需要了解物種的譜系關係、生活史、以及所遭遇的生存威脅，本課程將採用閱讀相關文獻、分組討論形式以增加學生昆蟲保育應有的知識與態度。
The conservation of insects is different from that of other terrestrial vertebrates. The conservation of insects requires more consideration of the quality of the habitat and the host plants they rely on for survival. In addition to understanding the genealogical relationships, life histories, and threats to survival of species, this course will use reading of relevant literature and group discussions to increase students' knowledge and attitudes toward insect conservation.
