Special Topics in Statistical Mechanics
教育目標 Course Target
統計力學是處理多體物理系統非常成功的理論。它是在熱力學極限內把微觀世界與宏觀世界連結起來的理論。物理學家可以透過統計力學理論來獲得電、磁、結構和熱的性質。這個理論非常清晰和直接,但是由於多體問題的基本問題,獲得有用和可靠結果的數學方法相當困難。因此,當嘗試採用分析方法時,物理學家面臨合理近似的挑戰。平均場理論、重正化群方法和簡化模型的精確解得到了數十年的發展。此外,由於電腦能力的快速增長,經典和量子統計系統的數值方法都得到了發展。我們將在課程中回顧平均場理論、相變理論和數值方法,包括蒙特卡羅模擬、精確對角化方法和有限尺寸標度理論等標準方法。
Statistical dysfunction is a very successful theory for handling multibody physics systems. It is the theory that connects the micro world with the macro world within the limit of thermal learning. Physicists can obtain electrical, magnetic, structural and heat properties through statistical theory. This theory is very clear and direct, but due to the basic problems of multiple problems, it is quite difficult to obtain mathematical methods of useful and reliable results. Therefore, when trying to adopt analytical methods, physicists face challenges of reasonable approximation. The precise solution of the average theory, the re-regularization group method and the simplified model has been developed for decades. In addition, due to the rapid growth of computer capabilities, numerical methods of classical and quantum statistical systems have been developed. We will review the average theories, phase variations, and numerical methods during the course, including standard methods such as Monte Carlo modularity, accurate diagonalization method and finite size standard theory.
