教育目標 Course Target

在這門課程中,我們將專注於人類歷史上最具破壞性的戰爭——第二次世界大戰的起源、過程和歷史影響。超過 70 個國家參與了這場戰爭,幾乎每個大陸都以某種方式受到這場衝突的影響。此外,這場戰爭見證了破壞性極大的極權政權的興起和各種新技術的出現,這些都促成了不僅在歐洲和亞洲的種族滅絕,還導致全球 8500 萬人喪生,佔全球總人口的 3%。簡而言之,若不理解第二次世界大戰,就無法理解 20 世紀或任何參與衝突的國家。本課程將探討此戰爭對人類社會的衝擊與影響。 本課程是碩士班專題課。每次課程的前半部分由教師針對主題之重要觀念進行系統性講授,後半部分由教師帶領修課學生針對閱讀文本和相關議題進行深度討論。一方面期望修課學生對於二次大戰研究的重要課題和核心概念,具備扎實的基礎知識基礎;另一方面,期許學生在相互討論、反覆思辯的過程中,培養獨立自主的批判思考能力。In this course, we will focus on the origins, processes and historical impacts of the most destructive battle in human history—the Second World War. More than 70 countries participated in this battle, and almost every mainland was affected by this conflict in some way. In addition, the war has witnessed the rise of a highly destructive regime and the emergence of new technologies, which have contributed to the destruction of ethnic groups not only in Europe and Asia, but also caused 85 million people to live, accounting for 3% of the global total population. In short, without understanding the Second World War, it is impossible to understand the 20th century or any country involved in the conflict. This course will explore the impact and impact of this war on human society. This course is a cadet class. The first half of each course is taught systematically by the teacher on important topics, and the second half is taught by the teacher to lead the course students to discuss in-depth reading texts and related topics. On the one hand, we hope that students will have a solid foundation of basic knowledge on important topics and core concepts in the Second Battle Research; on the other hand, students are expected to cultivate independent and independent critical thinking ability in the process of mutual discussion and repeated thinking.
