This 2-credit course assists students in integrating artificial intelligence (AI) tools into their English learning within their academic fields. As AI tools are increasingly prevalent in both daily and professional life, leveraging them for English language acquisition is a valuable opportunity. The course comprises three key components: (a) Students will explore various AI tools, compare their own outputs with AI-generated content, and critically assess the effectiveness of these tools. (b) Students will select AI tools tailored to their current English learning and career needs. (c) Students will lead a presentation and create a project demonstrating how chosen AI tools enhanced their English learning experience and career development. Class activities include discussions, AI-assisted speaking and writing exercises, presentations, and a video or innovative project.
