本課程旨在引導學生深入鑑賞西方各歷史時期的經典文學、音樂與藝術，並建立其與當代文化現象的深刻連結。本課將經典作品的歷史脈絡與美學內涵，並進一步探討這些作品的核心主題、敘事原型與藝術形式，如何在當代的影視、動漫乃至時事議題中被重新詮釋與呼應。本課程的核心目標在於，透過連結學生熟悉的流行文化，打破經典予人遙不可及的印象，藉此激發學生的學習興趣與共鳴，並培養其洞察古今文化關聯的思辨能力。

This course aims to guide students to deeply appreciate the classic literature, music and art of various Western historical periods, and to establish a profound connection with contemporary cultural phenomena. This course examines the historical context and aesthetic connotation of classic works, and further explores how the core themes, narrative prototypes and art forms of these works are reinterpreted and echoed in contemporary film, television, animation and even current affairs issues. The core goal of this course is to break the impression that classics are out of reach by connecting popular culture that students are familiar with, thereby stimulating students' interest and resonance in learning, and cultivating their critical thinking ability to understand the relationship between ancient and modern cultures.
