This course aims to guide students to deeply capture classical literature, music and art from various Western historical periods, and to establish a profound connection with contemporary cultural phenomena. This course will focus on the historical and aesthetic connotations of classic works, and further explore the core themes, event prototypes and artistic forms of these works, and how they are re-reviewed and called in contemporary film, animation and even current issues. The core goal of this course is to connect students' familiar popular culture, break the impression that classics give people unattainable, thereby inspiring students' learning interest and sharing, and cultivating their ability to understand the relationship between ancient and modern cultures.
