本課程旨在透過三大議題——牛頓運動定律與愛因斯坦相對論、原子與量子的物質世界，以及人類成為多星球生物的可能與限制——引導學生思辨現代科學的形成與突破，並培養對自然科學探索精神與創新能力的理解。

This course aims to guide students to think about the formation and breakthroughs of modern science through three major topics—the discussion of the laws of Niutton and Einstein’s contrast, the material world of atoms and quantum, and the possibility and limitations of human beings as multi-planet creatures—and to guide students to think about the formation and breakthroughs of modern science, and cultivate their understanding of the spirit of exploration and innovation ability of natural science.

本課程以討論式學習為主軸，結合自然科學中的重大議題與學生生活經驗，透過提問、資料蒐集、小組對話與公開發表，激發學生的科學探究能力、批判思維與公民素養，培養他們以知識回應社會與未來的能力。

This course focuses on discussion-based learning, combining major issues in natural sciences and student life experience, and through questions, data collection, group dialogue and public presentation, it stimulates students' scientific inquiry, critical thinking and civic cultivation, and cultivates their ability to respond to society and the future with knowledge.
