1. Cultivate the world's civic mind: Students can understand the common global issues facing humans and have the sense of responsibility and action as a member of the global village.
2. Improve the ability of exploring and critical thinking in arguments: Students can understand social phenomena with diverse perspectives, analyze the causal relationships and value conflicts in public arguments, and put forward rational proposals.
3. Cultivate media nurturing and information reading ability: Facing false news and post-truth phenomena, students can identify information truth, identify bias and manipulation, and make fundamental judgments.
4. Strengthen communication and democratic participation abilities: Students can demonstrate cooperation, listening and expression skills in group discussion and model situations, and learn rational dialogue and citizen participation.
5. Promote sustainable development and environmental responsibility: Students can understand the impact of global climate change on ecology, society and economy, and try to implement the concept of permanent success by acting.
6. A vision of building a local and global connection: Students can pay attention to Taiwan’s role in global issues, connect local actions and international trends, and develop citizen cultivation with a global vision.

本課程旨在培養具全球視野的公民素養。首先，引導學生理解人類共同面臨的全球性挑戰，建立世界公民意識與責任感。課程注重議題探究與批判思考，鼓勵以多元觀點剖析社會現象，理性分析公共議題的因果與價值衝突，提出合理主張。同時培養媒體素養，幫助學生在假新聞與後真相時代中辨識資訊真偽與偏誤，提升判斷力。透過小組討論與模擬情境，學生將強化溝通協調與合作能力，學習理性對話與民主參與。課程亦強調永續發展，鼓勵理解氣候變遷對環境與社會的衝擊，並付諸實踐。最後，學生將連結在地行動與國際趨勢，理解台灣於全球議題中的角色，培養兼具在地關懷與國際視野的公民素養。

This course aims to cultivate citizens' literacy with a global vision. First, guide students to understand the global challenges faced by humans and establish a sense of responsibility for world citizens. The course focuses on the exploration and critical thinking of the topic, encourages the analysis of social phenomena with diverse perspectives, rationally analyzes the causality and value conflicts of public issues, and puts forward reasonable initiatives. At the same time, we cultivate media cultivation to help students identify information truth and bias in the era of fake news and post-truth, and improve judgment ability. Through group discussions and model situations, students will strengthen their communication and cooperation abilities, and learn rational dialogue and democratic participation. The course also emphasizes continuous development, encourages understanding of the impact of climate change on the environment and society, and pays real attention. Finally, students will link local actions and international trends, understand Taiwan’s role in global discussions, and cultivate civic qualities that have both local concerns and international vision.
