教育目標 Course Target

地理資訊系統(GIS, Geographic Information Systems)是一套結合資訊科學、空間分析與地圖學的數位技術,廣泛應用於地理環境的觀察、管理與決策。從古至今,地圖作為人類認識與記錄空間的媒介,一直是環境規劃與發展運用的重要工具。隨著電腦與數位科技的演進,GIS技術不僅能快速製圖,更能協助分析地表環境、管理資源,並支援空間規劃與管理的永續使用。 本課程為GIS的入門課程,特別設計給無基礎或初學者。課程將從基本概念出發,循序漸進地介紹GIS操作方法與實務應用,並以景觀規劃與設計為應用場景,幫助學生理解GIS如何介入當代社會的空間分析與規劃工作。Geographic Information Systems (GIS, Geographic Information Systems) is a set of digital technologies that combine information science, spatial analysis and maps, and is widely used in the observation, management and decision-making of the geographical environment. From ancient times to the present, maps, as a medium for human recognition and recording space, have always been an important tool for environmental planning and development. With the evolution of computers and digital technology, GIS technology not only enables rapid mapping, but also helps analyze surface environments, manage resources, and supports the continuous use of space planning and management. This course is an entry course for GIS and is specially designed for basic or beginners. The course will develop from basic concepts, introduce GIS operation methods and practical applications step by step, and use landscape planning and design as the application scenario, helping students understand how GIS intervenes in spatial analysis and planning work in contemporary society.


課程概述 Course Description

自遠古時代起,地圖忠實著記載地表資訊,讓人們瞭解到地表的環境與資源,對於人類文明的發展扮演著重要的角色;時至今日,科技的發展與資訊的傳播,使地圖的需求及應用更趨多元。應用電腦科技製圖,已經成為環境資源調查分析的一大重點。 而數位地圖的技術,結合各個專業領域及資訊科學,發展成地理資訊系統(GIS);除了能快速製作地圖之外,可運用電腦科技將地表環境資源加以整合、分析,並提出人們對於地表資源經營管理及空間決策之機制,達成永續發展的目標。 近年來,地理資訊的發展更趨多元化,從地理學、景觀、水土保持、都計、資訊科學、環境資源、交通等領域均有許多地理資訊的應用方向;而最新的發展方向,則是強調各種現象之空間性,透過空間概念將實質現象加以轉化、分析,並加以整合運用。 對於地表景觀之應用,也是一項重要的課題;景觀領域之議題包羅萬象,均與空間現象有關;因此本課程將透過地理資訊之基礎理論概念、功能及應用實例之解說,配合網路GIS資源介紹,使學生瞭解GIS的概念及應用方向,並從實作中學習操作分析的技術;同時能應用網路上的GIS資源輔助GIS之實務應用;使同學能熟悉GIS之觀念與技術,以期理論與實務能充分配合。
Since ancient times, Map Zhongsheng has recorded surface information, allowing people to understand the surface environment and resources, and plays an important role in the development of human civilization. To this day, the development of science and technology and the spread of information have made the demand and application of maps more diverse. Applying computer technology maps has become a major focus of environmental resource survey and analysis. The technology of digital maps combines various professional fields and information science to develop into a geographic information system (GIS); in addition to being able to quickly produce maps, computer technology can be used to integrate and analyze surface environment resources, and propose mechanisms for surface resources management and space decision-making, achieving the goal of sustainable development. In recent years, the development of geographical information has become more diversified, with many geographic information application directions from geography, landscape, soil and water conservation, capital, information science, environmental resources, transportation and other fields; and the latest development direction is to emphasize the spatial nature of various phenomena, transform and analyze the actual phenomena through the concept of space, and integrate and use them. The application of surface landscape is also an important topic; the discussion topics of landscape fields include all images, which are related to spatial phenomena; therefore, this course will use the basic theoretical concepts, functions and application examples of geographical information, and cooperate with the introduction of online GIS resources to make Students understand the concept and application direction of GIS, and learn the technology of operation analysis through practice; at the same time, they can apply the GIS resources on the Internet to assist in the practical application of GIS; so that students can be familiar with the concepts and technologies of GIS, so that theory and practice can be fully coordinated.
