教育目標 Course Target

建築設計的過程涵蓋多樣的表現方式與多層次的意義,而在形成基本思想時,仍依賴圖像與語言作為主要媒介。從圖像與語言到建築空間的具體生成之間,潛藏著許多層次的思想轉換。本課程以「敘事」為核心,探討如何將不同表現形式與思想概念整合為建築的表達。「敘事」既是透過空間與時間來組織事物秩序的方法,也是將片段組合成整體的架構原理。若將建築視為思想的展現,它同時亦是一種敘事的生成。
課程包含三個主要單元:1.空間、時間、運動。從繪畫、漫畫、電影等藝術類型出發,探討不同媒介建構空間與時間的方式。學生將分析這些媒介如何處理運動、連續性與秩序,並理解其背後的思想條件與限制,作為建築敘事的思想參照。2.建築的思想與表達。藉由史論閱讀與作品分析,討論建築思想中的基本觀念與元素如何被整合並轉化為敘事的表達,進一步思考設計過程中的圖像、語言與表現方法。3.哲學對話。探討建築思想中關於身體、知覺、語言、圖像與場所等概念,並透過與哲學文本的對話,建立對建築敘事更深入的理解與研究基礎。
本課程同時將與建築設計課程緊密結合,透過理論與作品的閱讀、圖像與書寫的練習,培養學生在概念建構與圖像組織上的能力,並深化、整合設計實踐中的思想層次。

The process of architecture design covers a variety of expressions and multiple levels of meaning, and when forming basic ideas, images and language are still used as the main media. There are many levels of ideological transformation hidden between images and language and specific generation of architecture space. This course focuses on "things" and explores how to integrate different expression forms and ideas into the expression of buildings. "Things" is not only a method of organizing the order of things through space and time, but also a framework principle for combining fragments into a whole. If architecture is regarded as an expression of thought, it is also a generation of events.
The course includes three main units: 1. Space, time, and movement. Developed from art types such as painting, comics, movies, etc., explore ways to construct space and time in different media. Students will analyze how these media deal with movement, continuity and order, and understand the ideological conditions and limitations behind them as ideological references to architectural events. 2. The ideas and expressions of buildings. Through historical reading and work analysis, we discuss how basic concepts and elements in architectural thought are integrated and transformed into expressions of events, and further think about images, language and expression methods in the design process. 3. Philosophical dialogue. Explore concepts such as body, knowledge, language, images and venues in architectural thought, and establish a deeper understanding and research foundation for architectural affairs through dialogue with philosophical texts.
This course will also be closely integrated with the architecture design course, through the reading of theoretical discussion and works, the practice of image and writing, to cultivate students' abilities in conceptual construction and image organization, and to deepen and integrate the levels of thought in design practice.
