藉由金屬基礎加工技法(鋸切挫修、焊接、金屬表面處理等)介紹與實際操作過程,並透過國內外當代金工創作與設計案例的分享與賞析,讓學生瞭解並接觸金屬藝術創作範疇,培養對金屬材質的敏銳度 與造型操控能力,符合當代藝術創作與設計思潮,進而融合個人創作於金屬物件設計中,提升個人創作媒材的多元性與豐厚性。

Through the introduction and practical operation of basic metal processing techniques (sawing and trimming, welding, metal surface treatment, etc.), and through the sharing and appreciation of contemporary metalworking creation and design cases at home and abroad, students can understand and be exposed to the scope of metal art creation and cultivate their sensitivity to metal materials. With the ability to control shapes, it is in line with contemporary art creation and design trends, and then integrates personal creation into the design of metal objects to enhance the diversity and richness of personal creative media.
