本課程主要是Karl Polanyi經典《鉅變》（The Great Transformation）的深度閱讀。除了文本講授與討論外，透過與《鉅變》相關的大蕭條、濟貧院、合作社運動，以及當代2008金融風暴及失業勞工等相關主題影片提供的歷史背景，協助修課同學掌握《鉅變》的主要論點和當代重要意義。

This course is mainly an in-depth reading of Karl Polanyi's classic "The Great Transformation". In addition to textual teaching and discussion, through the major issues related to "Divine", economic hospitals, cooperative sports, and the historical background provided by contemporary 2008 financial storm and unemployed workers, students in the courses will help students master the main points of "Divine" and important contemporary meanings.
