訓練學生分析國際新聞的基本技巧與深度報導的初步能力，以及連結目前相關的串流媒體內容，引領學生討論實際議題時可能面臨的各種問題，進而突破為了篩選大量資訊，被多數社群軟體運用演算法推薦「個人化內容」，造成使用者的「同溫層效應」，削弱與不同意見交流的能力。修課學生還有機會赴中央社，實地參與國際新聞編採運作，課程結合理論與實務，盼帶給學生不同國際視野，未來有機會走向世界。

The training students' basic skills in analyzing international news and preliminary ability to in-depth report, as well as linking current related streaming media content, leading students to discuss various problems that may be faced when discussing practical issues, and thus break through.
