International News Reporting and Issues in Streaming Media
教育目標 Course Target
訓練學生分析國際新聞的基本技巧與深度報導的初步能力,以及連結目前相關的串流媒體內容,引領學生討論實際議題時可能面臨的各種問題,進而突破為了篩選大量資訊,被多數社群軟體運用演算法推薦「個人化內容」,造成使用者的「同溫層效應」,削弱與不同意見交流的能力。修課學生還有機會赴中央社,實地參與國際新聞編採運作,課程結合理論與實務,盼帶給學生不同國際視野,未來有機會走向世界。
It trains students in the basic skills of analyzing international news and the preliminary ability of in-depth reporting, as well as linking current relevant streaming media content, leading students to various problems they may face when discussing actual issues, and then breaking through the "personalized content" recommended by most social software algorithms in order to filter large amounts of information, resulting in a "stratosphere effect" for users, weakening the ability to communicate with different opinions. Students taking the course also have the opportunity to go to the Central News Agency and participate in international news editing operations on the spot. The course combines theory and practice, hoping to give students a different international perspective and the opportunity to go global in the future.
