本課程旨在協助學生整合並應用既有的理論與研究方法，以回應政治學相關議題，並進一步培養獨立完成研究專案的能力。

課程設計鼓勵學生從自身感興趣的政治學主題出發，蒐集相關文獻，發展合乎邏輯的研究問題，提出可驗證的假說，並運用先前習得的方法加以檢證，最終提出具體結論。課程亦強調責任感與溝通能力的養成，期望學生不僅能獨立完成研究，也能有效與師長互動，並具備對外簡報與表達的能力。

課程進行方式分為兩階段。第一階段以教師授課為主，內容包括研究計劃撰寫步驟與技巧、簡報訓練，以及文獻管理工具的操作說明；第二階段採面談式指導，透過定期會議討論研究進度與報告內容，提供個別化回饋。

學生須於期中與期末提交書面與口頭報告。期中報告著重於研究計劃的架構與進度說明；期末報告則需完整呈現研究成果，包括分析結果與研究結論。

This course aims to help students integrate and apply existing theories and research methods to respond to political-related issues and further develop the ability to complete research projects independently.

Course design encourages students to develop political topics of their own interest, collect relevant documents, develop logical research questions, propose verified hypotheses, and use previously obtained methods to verify them, and finally propose specific conclusions. The course also emphasizes the cultivation of sense of responsibility and communication skills. It is expected that students will not only complete research independently, but also effectively interact with teachers and have the ability to provide external briefing and expression.

The course is divided into two stages. The first stage is mainly taught by teachers, and the content includes research plan writing steps and techniques, brief training, and operation instructions of document management tools; the second stage is conducted on-site consultation and provides a differentiated review through regular meetings and discussion on research progress and report content.

Students are required to submit written and oral reports at the mid-term and end of the period. The midterm report focuses on the structure and progress explanation of the research plan; the final report needs to fully present the research results, including analysis results and research conclusions.
