本課程將介紹國內外最新的地方政府理論與學說，並對照台灣目前實際的地方政治與面臨之問題，讓學生得以增進理論基礎以及了解現實狀況。除培養學生清楚地方政府的運作與參與民主政治的熱情外，更希望幫助學生在畢業後參加高普考時能有正確的認知。

This course will introduce the latest local government theories and doctrines at home and abroad, and compare them with the current actual local politics and problems faced in Taiwan, allowing students to enhance their theoretical foundation and understand the real situation. In addition to cultivating students' understanding of the operations of local government and enthusiasm for participating in democratic politics, we also hope to help students have a correct understanding when taking the college entrance examination after graduation.

地方自治素有民主政治學校之稱，本課程係以介紹當前地方政治與地方自治諸理論，並與實際相互驗證，引發學生對於地方政府與政治的興趣，進而培養地方自治人才，希冀進一步鞏固台灣民主基礎。本課程將介紹國內外最新的地方政府理論與學說，並對照台灣目前實際的地方政治與面臨之問題，讓學生得以增進理論基礎以及了解現實狀況。除培養學生清楚地方政府的運作與參與民主政治的熱情外，更希望幫助學生在畢業後參加高普考時能有正確的認知。

Local autonomy is known as the school of democratic politics. This course introduces current local politics and local autonomy theories and verifies them with reality, stimulating students' interest in local government and politics, and then cultivating local autonomy talents, hoping to further consolidate Taiwan's democratic foundation.
