在商業競爭愈發激烈的現今，以往強調品質、服務等競爭手段已不敷使用。尤其在高科技產業中，企業的創新知識方為其主要競爭核心，使得知識財產權在企業中的重要程度也愈來愈高，企業也更為積極取得相關智慧財產權，導致企業中對於智慧財產權的管理愈發重要。
授課教師為經高考合格的專利師(Patent attorney)，從事專利、商標的申請、救濟、訴訟業務已有20餘年，本課程將帶領同學，由實務的角度，探索各類智慧財產權，例如：專利權、商標權、著作權、營業秘密與積體電路布局，的涵義以及其於企業中的運作狀況。

Especially in the high-tech industry, the innovative knowledge of enterprises is the main core of competition, making intellectual property rights more and more important in enterprises. Enterprises are also more active in acquiring relevant intellectual property rights, making the management of intellectual property rights in enterprises increasingly important.
The instructor is a patent attorney who has passed the college entrance examination and has been engaged in patent and trademark application, relief, and litigation for more than 20 years. This course will lead students to explore the meaning of various intellectual property rights, such as patent rights, trademark rights, copyrights, business secrets, and integrated circuit layouts, and their operation in enterprises from a practical perspective.
