介紹直流機和交流機基本動作原理以及各種交/直流旋轉電機、變壓器（非旋轉電機）、與特殊用途電機之結構、運轉原理、數學模型、與啟動機制等等，並讓學生於課後利用MATLAB軟體作電機特性、磁路行為模擬，透過電腦輔助模擬學習可提升學生對於電機機械電、磁特性行為模型的瞭解與學習興趣。

Introduces the basic operating principles of DC and AC machines, as well as the structure, operating principles, mathematical models, and starting mechanisms of various AC/DC rotating motors, transformers (non-rotating motors), and special-purpose motors. Students are also allowed to use MATLAB software to simulate motor characteristics and magnetic circuit behavior after class. Computer-assisted simulation learning can enhance students' understanding and interest in learning the mechanical, electrical, and magnetic behavior models of motors.
