微生物學是生態保育、環境科學、農林與食品科學、臨床醫學、公共衛生、遺傳工程、分子生物或跨學科範疇的基礎，有助職涯就業力與相關領與之深造能力。本課程目標，在使學生認識微生物，學習微生物學知識，瞭解微生物學的應用與研究，為相關領域奠基。教授內容包括基礎微生物、微生物多樣性、臨床、環境與應用微生物學。採講授、錄影帶教學、專題討論與校外教學。

Microbiology is the foundation for ecological conservation, environmental science, agriculture, forestry and food science, clinical medicine, public health, genetic engineering, molecular biology or interdisciplinary fields, which contributes to career employability and the ability to further study in related fields. The goal of this course is to enable students to understand microorganisms, learn microbiology knowledge, understand the application and research of microbiology, and lay the foundation for related fields. Teaching content includes basic microbiology, microbial diversity, clinical, environmental and applied microbiology. Lectures, video teaching, special discussions and off-campus teaching are provided.
