課程目標:
介紹神經系統之基本構造、功能和研究方法,培養學生對神經功能運作之和理解,並發展討論以及口述報告之能力。
課程內涵:
本課程是為大學部高年級所開設。修習之學生應當於每次上課之前自行閱讀課程章節,在課堂上講解所分配到之章節,並參與課程中的問題討論。
本課程將帶領學生研習大腦結構以及神經元在細胞層次的運作方式，接著在神經迴路的架構上探討神經系統如何整合及運作，最後探討大腦如動機、情緒、記憶與學習等高層次的功能以及神經疾病的關聯。

Course objectives:
Introduces the basic structure, function and research methods of the nervous system, cultivates students' understanding of the operation of neurological functions, and develops the ability to discuss and give oral reports.
Course content:
This course is for senior undergraduate students. Students should read the course chapters by themselves before each class, explain the assigned chapters in class, and participate in discussion of issues in the course.
This course will lead students to study the structure of the brain and how neurons operate at the cellular level, then explore how the nervous system integrates and operates based on the architecture of neural circuits, and finally explores the high-level functions of the brain such as motivation, emotion, memory, and learning, as well as the relationship between neurological diseases.
