Through practical operations, experimental records and results reports, we help students understand the introductory research methods of modern molecular biology and biotechnology.

本課程將以實驗原理配合以實驗結果及實際方法學來表示分子生物學的基本觀念，並期使學生了解如何以分子生物學方法來進行科學的研究。本課程包括有各項分生基礎操作技術，如純化、切割與連接DNA，DNA分析方法，DNA轉殖至菌體，重組DNA表達，蛋白純化與分析。期望能灌輸學生基本觀念，學習有關這些分子生物學方法技術的原理及應用。

This course will use experimental principles, experimental results and practical methodology to express the basic concepts of molecular biology, and aims to enable students to understand how to conduct scientific research using molecular biology methods. This course includes various basic meristematic operating techniques, such as purifying, cutting and joining DNA, DNA analysis methods, DNA transfer to bacterial cells, recombinant DNA expression, and protein purification and analysis. It is expected to instill in students basic concepts and learn the principles and applications of these molecular biology methods and techniques.
