此課程為打好日文基礎的重要課程，透過詳細的解說日語單字意思、發音規則、句型結構等，使學生能打好日語基礎，全方位理解初級日語，並期待學生將之運用在聽、說、讀、寫、譯等基礎能力上。修課同學應自發性的積極參與學習，養成預習、看到不懂的字即查字典或上網查單字意思，並將它背起來的好習慣。

This course is an important course for laying a solid foundation in Japanese. Through detailed explanations of Japanese word meanings, pronunciation rules, sentence structures, etc., students can lay a solid foundation in Japanese and fully understand elementary Japanese. Students are expected to use it in basic abilities such as listening, speaking, reading, writing, and translation. Students taking the course should actively participate in learning on their own initiative, and develop the good habit of previewing, looking up words in the dictionary or online to look up the meaning of a word they don’t understand, and memorizing it.

透過解說及要求學生自主學習，奠定學生日語基礎語彙、語法、句型等概念及短文閱讀的基本能力。利用課堂練習及統一會考強化其記憶與運用能力。開啟學生進行日語自律學習的契機。

Through explanations and requiring students to learn independently, it lays down students' basic Japanese vocabulary, grammar, sentence patterns and other concepts as well as their basic ability to read short texts.
