This period of time has had a huge impact on the West in politics, philosophy, literature, science, art and culture. The course is held in a convention in the order of the times, outlining important topics of political, social and cultural development, as well as the contact and influence with different cultures. The course also explains important topics, such as: city-state, colonization, discipline, democracy, and major political entities, such as: Athens, Sparta, and Macedonia. The course will present how the history of ancient Greece is constructed, and will also introduce the basic abilities required for research.
