本課程旨在引導學生理解自然書寫的核心精神，聚焦臺灣當代自然書寫文本，並參照國際自然書寫經典，拓展對自然與文學關係的思考。在十六週課程中，學生將閱讀臺灣自然書寫代表作家的選篇，搭配國外自然書寫經典，從中建立對自然書寫的基本理解與跨文化視野。課程內容涵蓋山嶺、森林、濕地、水域、海洋等多樣地景的書寫，思考地景如何承載記憶、身份與倫理意涵。我們將討論自然書寫如何「以文學介入自然」，在不同場域中描繪身體與意志的自由，捕捉生命的韻律與節奏，並開展一種關於「新地球」（引自李育霖）的文學想像，思索人類生活之外的倫理可能。課程同時關注詩學與美學觀點，借助鄭毓瑜提出的「引譬連類」傳統詩學，思考比喻如何構成感知自然的文學機制。透過細讀作家如何將生命經驗融入山川草木、飛禽走獸的書寫，學生將思索人與自然、與非人存在交織而成的生命圖景，並培養面對自然與他者時所需的共感能力與倫理思維。

This course aims to guide students to understand the core spirit of nature writing, focus on the text of contemporary nature writing in Taiwan, and refer to the international nature writing classics to expand their thinking on the relationship between nature and literature. During the 16-week course, students will read the choices of Taiwanese natural books representative writers, and match them with foreign natural books classics to establish a basic understanding of nature books and a cross-cultural vision. The course content covers books on various landscapes such as mountains, forests, wetlands, waters, and oceans, thinking about how landscapes convey memory, identity and ethics. We will discuss how nature's book "intervention into nature through literature", describes the freedom of body and will in different fields, captures the law and rhythm of life, and develops a literary imagination about the "New Earth" (cited from Li Yulin), and ponders the ethical possibilities outside human life. The course also focuses on poetry and aesthetics views. With the help of the traditional poetry proposed by Zheng Yuyu, we think about how to form a literary mechanism that perceives nature. Through detailed readings on how writers integrate life experience into mountains, rivers, plants, and birds, students will think about life patterns formed by the interaction between man and nature and non-human existence, and cultivate the ability and ethical thinking required to face nature and others.
