Taiwan-Japan Exchange and Cultural Translation
教育目標 Course Target
本課程係搭配教育部「人文社會與產業實務創新鏈結計畫」所開設課程。課程將與「關西學院大學」建築系與國際交流學部進行合作,以臺日雙向交流與兩校合作方式進行,預計今年七月4-5天的地方創生案例參訪;臺日學生共同舉辦現地實習,從真實的情境中找出問題,確認居民的需求,亦將實現設計思考(Design Thinking)的學習流程。
課程將以在地踏查、田野採訪、資料搜集、居民訪問等方式,對照臺日雙方地方所面對的共同處境與社會議題,在當代面臨人口大量外移與平均年齡漸趨高齡化的情況時,大學端如何能夠透過跨域的討論與專業的思考,協助地方找回人群(包括居民與訪客),並能論述並凸顯出無可取代的地方特色,讓地方逐漸復甦。
本課程將由臺日師生一同走入社區,進行實地考察,希望重新評估地區資源、發現問題,透過研究分析來提出改進建議,提出新的功能機制及相關提案。
This course is offered in conjunction with the "Humanities, Society and Industrial Practice Innovation Linkage Project" of the Ministry of Education. The course will cooperate with the Department of Architecture and the Department of International Exchange of "Kwansei Gakuin University" to conduct two-way exchanges and cooperation between Taiwan and Japan. It is expected that there will be a case visit of local creation for 4-5 days in July this year. Taiwanese and Japanese students will jointly hold on-site internships to identify problems from real situations and confirm the needs of residents. It will also realize the learning process of Design Thinking.
The course will use methods such as on-the-spot investigation, field interviews, data collection, and resident interviews to compare the common situations and social issues faced by places in Taiwan and Japan. In the contemporary era, when faced with large-scale population migration and an aging average age, how can universities help places regain their populations (including residents and visitors) through cross-disciplinary discussions and professional thinking, and discuss and highlight irreplaceable local characteristics, so that places can gradually recover.
In this course, Taiwanese and Japanese teachers and students will go into the community together to conduct on-the-spot investigations, hoping to re-evaluate regional resources, discover problems, and propose improvement suggestions through research and analysis, and propose new functional mechanisms and related proposals.
