課程目標：透過課程安排，除了認識西方媒材的多樣化、實踐個人創作、過程與成果分享及討論，也透過展覽與藝術家介紹，引導創作的獨立思考和執行能力，並發現自己的創作關懷。解析媒材與其與不同語彙的運用；課堂上將藉由展覽與不同階段的重要藝術家及其作品，來分析其表現手法與內涵，鼓勵學生從這些藝術家所對照的藝術思潮來探討媒材轉化的創作與技法。
課程內涵：本課程的內容旨在培養具有多元跨域視野的現當代藝術相關領域人才︒Course objectives: Through the course arrangement, in addition to understanding the diversity of Western media, implementing personal creation, sharing and discussion of processes and results, it also guides the independent thinking and execution ability of creation through exhibitions and artist introductions, and discovers your own creative concerns.
