藉由反覆討論同一主題：「箱型盒狀空間」的模式，從藝術史發展脈絡、形式觀察、意涵討論，以及不同型態之經典作品臨摹的學習模式，引導修課者掌握藝術圖像辨讀能力，進而培養出個人獨立思考與觀察的敏銳度。

By repeatedly discussing the same theme: the model of "box-shaped space", from the development of art history, form observation, discussion of meaning, and the learning mode of copying different types of classic works, the course guides the students to master the ability to read artistic images, and then cultivate the acumen of personal independent thinking and observation.

解析油畫材質、技法在各個時期，面對不同的目的與條件，所呈現的樣貌及變遷；並透過課程單元的安排，共同討論發展與東海自然、人文環境及個人創作理念可結合、對話的油畫形式和內容。

Analyze the appearance and changes of oil painting materials and techniques in various periods, in the face of different purposes and conditions; and through the arrangement of course units, discuss the development of oil painting forms and contents that can be combined with and dialogue with the East China Sea's natural and humanistic environment and personal creative concepts.
