本系碩士班A組以人文科學為取向,探討人類與建築、都市以至整個生存環境相互間之關係,凡與此有關的問題,研究生均可選擇為研究或設計的探討課題。
•本系碩士論文分為學術論文與設計論文二類,前者著重訓練基本學術思考與分析方法,後者以培養完美主義的專業精神為目的。
•學術論文可以以下形式呈現:質性(Qualitative)或量化(Quantitative)研究;描述性(Descriptive)或因果性 (Cause and Effect)研究;理論性(Thereotical)或應用性(Applied)研究。若以應用性規劃書、設計準則或設計案形式完成之論文, 應對設計中某方面之特定旨趣有所追求與探索,並有相關發現、創意之提出。
•設計論文可以分為理論設計或實務設計二種。理論設計著重概念性設計的理論基礎或方法論的建構,實務設計強調專業精神的培育與建築師工作的完整認識。The A-teacher class in this system is oriented towards humanities and explores the relationship between humans and architecture, cities and the entire living environment. For any questions related to this, graduate students can choose research or design research questions.
•The essays in this system are divided into two categories: academic papers and design papers. The former focuses on practicing basic academic thinking and analysis methods, while the latter aims to cultivate the professional spirit of perfectionism.
•Academic papers can be presented in the following forms: Qualitative or Quantitative research; Descriptive or Cause and Effect research; Theretical or Applied research. If a paper completed in the form of an application-based planning, design plan or design project, it should pursue and explore the specific interests of a certain aspect of the design, and propose related discoveries and creativity.
• Design papers can be divided into theoretical design or practical design. Theoretical design focuses on the theoretical basis or the construction of methodological discussions of conceptual design, and implements the cultivation of professional spirit and the complete understanding of the work of architects.

•研究生在開始研究工作之前,應先撰寫一研究計畫,以文字敘述論文背景、目的、問題假設、理論簡述、收集資料、數據的方法、分析方法、預期結果、研究流程時間表、及參考書目等。
論文提案內容架構應以能清楚表達關切之議題,及可能採行的探究方法為要義。此一研究計畫的撰寫由研究所一年級下學期「論文寫作」課開始要求,並併入成為「論文寫作」課的評分項目之一。
•論文「提案審查」分書面審查與口頭審查兩階段。各生應於規定日期之前先以書面方式,將提案送交老師預審,若二位老師認為提案大致可行,即可通過,進入口頭審查階段。老師認為書面提案不宜通過時,該生應另行提出新的書面提案。
• Before starting the research work, graduate students should write a research plan, and use text to describe the background, purpose, problem hypothesis, theoretical brief, methods of collecting data, data, analysis methods, expected results, research process timetable, and Reference books, etc.
The content structure of the proposal should be based on the principle of being able to clearly express the relevant issues and possible exploration methods. The writing of this research plan is required by the Institute’s first-level second-level “Legend Writing” course and is incorporated into one of the ratings for the “Legend Writing” course.
•The article "Proposal Review" sub-text review and oral review are two stages. Each student should submit the proposal to the teacher for review in writing before the specified date. If the two teachers think that the proposal is generally feasible, they can pass and enter the entrance examination stage. When the teacher believes that the book proposal should not be passed, the student should submit a new book proposal separately.
