本學程進行了課程內涵的大幅調整與進化,強調在知識理論的基底下,導入當代前沿的數位和智慧技術來「跨領域實作」,以每年實際建造示範性建築與空間模組為目標,持續進行建築與城市永續性的研究與設計創新。以透過先前的「AI智慧建築校級計畫」第一階段完成的「智能種子屋」為施行範例,過程整合建築和智慧科技與永續環境技術,重新定義以「效能、感知、連結、親生命」為價值核心的建築原型,其中包含運用AI與AIoT技術的A.I.O.S智慧建築操作系統(Architecture Intelligence Operation System) 模組的設計研發與建置,結合生態綠能、可食地景、智慧生活等概念,為台灣城鄉建立智慧與永續的新構築與美學系統。種子屋如同生物一般的神經網路系統,結構、空間與設備如同骨骼、器官組織與神經網路,透過連結各種人流、物流、金流與資訊流動,即時回應環境變動,有效地分配資源,建築成為智慧生活的媒介,成為環境友善的裝置。
