The Business Value Creation of Digital Technology

教育目標 Course Target

在知識經濟與科技致能的風潮下,產業發展逐漸轉型為以數位科技的商業價值創造為主要驅動力的模式,而企業也越來越重視自身的數位科技應用與創新管理,並藉由組織內源源不絕的創新活動與成果,達成企業價值創造的目標。但如何做好數位科技的商業價值創造呢?數位科技的價值創造可以學習嗎?商業價值創造活動可以管理嗎?對強調數位科技研發的企業而言,無論身處在任何產業,如何將數位科技研發成果轉化成具市場價值的商業經營成為現代企業經營最重要的議題。本課程希望藉由文獻之自我閱讀、課堂之實作演練,輔以個案探討的刺激,為學生對科技的商業價值創造帶來新的思考與啟發,並累積實務能力。

有鑑於數位科技的商業價值創造係為一跨領域的議題,為期在有限的時間內,兼顧廣度與深度,讓修課學生有所掌握,本課程採取「以數位科技創新為核心、以創業提案為目的」的觀點進行課程設計,並配合課程原定目標,特別介紹與深入探討講師於工研院任職所研發之NSDB價值創造方法論,並於課堂由講師帶領進行NSDB的實務練習,讓學生於修完課程後,不僅對科技的商業價值創造有相當的了解,並累積科技創新與創業提案之實務能力。其中,配合開課科系,本課程在此所指的「科技」將以數位科技作為主軸。

Under the trend of knowledge economy and technological empowerment, industrial development has gradually transformed into a model with the commercial value creation of digital technology as the main driving force. Enterprises are also paying more and more attention to their own digital technology application and innovation management, and achieve the goal of corporate value creation through a steady stream of innovative activities and results within the organization. But how to create business value through digital technology? Can the value creation of digital technology be learned? Can business value creation activities be managed? For companies that emphasize digital technology research and development, no matter what industry they are in, how to transform digital technology research and development results into commercial operations with market value has become the most important issue in modern business operations. This course hopes that through self-reading of literature, practical exercises in class, and the stimulation of case studies, it will bring new thinking and inspiration to students about the creation of commercial value in technology and accumulate practical abilities.

In view of the fact that the commercial value creation of digital technology is a cross-field topic that is limited to a limited period of time, taking into account both breadth and depth, so that students can master it, this course adopts the perspective of "taking digital technology innovation as the core and entrepreneurship proposal as the purpose" to design the course, and in line with the original goals of the course, It introduces and deeply discusses the NSDB value creation methodology developed by the lecturer while working at ITRI, and conducts NSDB practical exercises in class under the guidance of the lecturer. After completing the course, students will not only have a considerable understanding of the commercial value creation of technology, but also accumulate practical abilities in technological innovation and entrepreneurial proposals. Among them, in conjunction with the course department, the "technology" referred to in this course will be digital technology as the main axis.
