Introducing Generative AI for the Humanities

教育目標 Course Target

隨著AI科技的迅速發展,人類社會的各個面向都開始受到了不同層面的衝擊。生成式 AI 迅速與多樣化產製內容的能力,不論在知識傳承,或是實務創作上也帶給人文社會領域新的養分與挑戰。

本堂課是特別針對人文領域的學生設計的 AI 技術與應用入門課。在內容安排與講解上, 與一般純粹以技術入門的導論課有許多不同。本堂課將以人本為核心關懷出發,以直觀概念與模擬技術來講解 AI 模型的基礎與發展,並搭配與人文主題相關的實作練習,特別是文史哲議題、語言與溝通、藝術音樂與遊戲創作等等。

With the rapid development of AI technology, all aspects of human society have begun to be impacted by different levels. Generative AI’s ability to quickly and diversify content, regardless of knowledge inheritance or practical creation, also brings new growth and challenges to the humanities and social fields.

This class is an introductory course for AI technology and application designed specifically for students in the humanities field. In terms of content arrangement and explanation, there are many differences from the general discussion courses that are purely technically entered. This class will be developed with human nature as the core, and will explain the basics and development of AI models with intuitive concepts and simulation techniques, and will be combined with practical practices related to humanistic themes, especially literary, historical and philosophical topics, language and communication, artistic music and game creation, etc.
