This course discusses sensory perception from the perspective of Anglo-American philosophy and graphic traditions. Students in the course should note: the current course planning may still change, and the specific course content and rating methods will be based on the explanation in the first class, so students must attend the first class. In addition, this course focuses on the contribution of phenomenon to contemporary intellectual philosophy, so the original text is not the main axis; students who mainly care about the original text should carefully consider it before the course. According to the current planning, we mainly discuss Walter Hopp's specialty on sensory perception, which combines British and American philosophy with phenomenon, with particular emphasis on Huthier phenomenon; however, we will also choose to read some articles on intellectual philosophy inspired by the theory of Merlotti. . Whether in terms of Houthiel or Merlotti viewing, sensory perception is an extremely fundamental state of consciousness, providing a foundation for our understanding to a certain extent. How does sensory perception do this? This is one of the core topics of this course. We will look at the following idea: Compared to other states of consciousness, sensory perceptions present the world more directly and more closely related to the characteristics of the things themselves, and are also more closely linked to physical activities. We will also try to clarify the relationship between knowledge and mental activities such as concepts, consciousness, and illusions. These discussions will help us think about the importance of sensory perception in philosophy.
