Course Target

By organizing the "Taiwanese-Japanese Grassroots Community Exchange": We hope that students can use what they have learned to build a bridge of communication and connect the grassroots communities in Taiwan and Japan to jointly discuss common issues between them and combine more forces through exchanges to help solve problems. At the same time, they will also expand each other's breadth of thinking and worldview. This year’s activities focus on the summer “Kansai Trip” and the Taiwan-Japan agricultural and food education exchange activities in early December. The theme of "Kansai Tour" is community building. The main event location is the Kashiwahara area of Tamba City, Japan. It is a joint exchange activity between Kansai Gakuin University, Tokai University, and Chaoyang University of Science and Technology.
The event location of the "Taiwanese-Japanese Farmers and Food Education Exchange Event" is the carp community in Sanyi, Miaoli, Taiwan. In conjunction with the "Tian Cha Di Liquor" event launched by the Taichung Branch of the Bureau of Water Conservation, Japan's "Kyushu Food and Culture Support Team" and the carp community are scheduled to be connected to cooperate and develop agricultural products in Taiwan and Japan.

[Mountain Plan]:
Understand why the aborigines accepted the history of "group migration" and migrated to another area, what problems and difficulties they encountered during the process, and how they each responded.
Ren'ai Township in Nantou is a place with many ethnic groups. The memories and histories of various immigrant tribes are complicated and intertwined. By observing the immigration history of each community, we can open our eyes to think about the situation and situation of the indigenous people.
Focusing on the "middle reaches of Beigang Creek", this article explores how the Meiyuan tribe, which belongs to the Atayal ethnic group, got along with the Seediq people who accepted "group resettlement" and moved in. They had complex cultural exchanges with each other and profoundly affected the identity of subsequent generations of aborigines.
