Chinese Language Testing and Assessment

教育目標 Course Target

本門課著重於兩種不同類型的學生華語文能力學習評量:標準化測驗與課堂學習評量。課程將涵蓋兩類評量的理論基礎、評量設計與相關研究以及探究兩類不同評量間的關係。本門課觸及的主題與相關問題為:(1)評量之基礎理論:心理計量理論與學習理論;(2)外語學習標準與評量設計;(3)重要的華語文能力測驗介紹;(4)聽說讀寫評量之類型與設計。
課程旨在介紹語言測驗一般性理論,並討論華語測驗種類、性質,及實踐,進一步介紹測驗出題方法及內容,及學習成效的評估,評量結果的分析,以及評量之後所進行的學習改善技巧與獎勵措施。

This course focuses on two different types of assessment of students' Chinese language proficiency learning: standardized tests and classroom learning assessment. The course will cover the theoretical basis of the two types of assessments, assessment design and related research, as well as explore the relationship between the two different types of assessments. The topics and related issues covered in this course are: (1) Basic theories of assessment: psychometric theory and learning theory; (2) Foreign language learning standards and assessment design; (3) Introduction to important Chinese proficiency tests; (4) Types and designs of listening, speaking, reading and writing assessments.
The course aims to introduce the general theory of language testing, and discuss the types, nature, and practice of Chinese language testing. It further introduces the method and content of test questions, the evaluation of learning effectiveness, the analysis of evaluation results, and the learning improvement techniques and incentives after evaluation.
