凡有價值的文學作品皆然，文本自身除了能展示美感之外，更應著重的是閱讀者藉由文本此一媒介而挖掘自身所潛藏的力量：是理解的深化；是視野的拓展；是思辨的開啟；是生命的體會。如將中國傳統文學的「文以載道」觀進行解構並重整、賦予當代義，那關於上述的四點亦可概括為素養的提升。畢竟當今社會難再強調「獨善其身」，對於所處的當下予以積極關注，是現代人的一種自我展現，而素養乃是至重之基石。
本學期課程將以「溝通與表達」為主軸，內容涉及社會角落面向、多元族群等等面向，期望同學們藉由文本的閱讀後，能將視角做可能的延伸，進而理解，進而學習正確表述。

This is true for all valuable literary works. In addition to the beauty of the text itself, what should be more important is that readers can tap into their own hidden power through the text as a medium: it is the deepening of understanding; it is the expansion of vision; it is the opening of speculation; it is the experience of life. If we deconstruct, reorganize, and give contemporary meaning to the traditional Chinese literature concept of "literature carries the Tao," then the above four points can also be summarized as the improvement of literacy. After all, it is difficult to emphasize "taking care of yourself" in today's society. Paying active attention to the present moment is a kind of self-expression for modern people, and literacy is the most important cornerstone.
This semester's course will focus on "communication and expression", covering aspects such as corners of society, diverse ethnic groups, etc. It is hoped that after reading the text, students can extend their perspective as much as possible to understand and learn to express it correctly.
