本課程「自然永續議題」以「木建築」為中心講授,並讓學生發掘出木建築的優點,來理解到永續建築的一環。有別於上學期的「自然創新議題」,本學期更著重在木構造的科學性,來討論木構造建築的優越性,並針對未來建築趨勢多做論述。
在後半學期則以運用木建築最多的日本為例,講授日本木建築的歷史發展、運用在現代建築的案例。並以台灣當代案例介紹,做為整個學期課程的結論。
This course "Natural Continuation Question" is taught at the center of "Wood Buildings" and allows students to discover the advantages of wooden buildings to understand the ring of permanent buildings. Different from the "Natural Innovation Question" in the previous period, this period focuses more on the scientific nature of wood structure, discussing the advantages of wood structure construction, and discussing more about future construction trends.
In the second half of the year, Japan, which used the most wooden buildings, was used as an example, to teach the historical development of Japanese wooden buildings and the use of them in modern buildings. It is also introduced with contemporary cases in Taiwan to conclude the entire course of the study.
