經典乃是流傳久遠,可以作為典範,且能發揮深遠影響的作品。本課程目標在啟發學生美的鑑賞與願意為善的藝術涵養,藉由閱讀中西小說經典,不僅理解中國現代小說經典發展的軌跡,了解相關社會歷史文化背景,更期能掌握文本背後的種種對於人的本質,人與人,人與社會、人與世界之關係,也就是對於人性、道德、以及歷史社會文化的重要意涵,成為更具有求真、慕善、賞美的人文素養的大學生。Classics are works that have been passed down for a long time, can be used as classics, and can have deep influence.
