教育目標 Course Target

By the end of this course, students will: 1. Understand the fundamental principles of environmental protection and management and their role in ensuring ecosystem sustainability. 2. Analyze the causes and impacts of environmental degradation, including air and water pollution, waste mismanagement, and hazardous material contamination. 3. Develop strategies for mitigating environmental risks through sustainable practices and resource management. 4. Gain practical knowledge of environmental policies, regulations, and technologies for managing environmental hazards. 5. Apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills to real-world environmental challenges and propose effective management solutions. Course Content: 1.Introduction to Environmental Protection and Management Definition, importance, and scope of environmental management Relationship between environmental quality and ecosystem stability Air and Water Quality Management 2.Sources and impacts of pollution Technologies and policies for air and water protection Waste Management and Resource Conservation 3.Principles of waste minimization, recycling, and sustainable resource use Hazardous waste management and its environmental implications Environmental Hazards and Risk Management 4.Identification and mitigation of chemical, biological, and physical hazards Case studies on environmental risk management Policy and Governance in Environmental Protection 5.Overview of environmental laws, standards, and regulations Role of international agreements and frameworks Sustainable Solutions and Innovations 6.Emerging technologies in environmental management Designing sustainable strategies for future challenges Capstone Activities 7.Practical case studies and group projects Presentations on innovative environmental management solutionsBy the end of this course, students will: 1.
