每一塊土地皆有其身份歸屬與環境條件，因而產生其對應之允許使用與管制，因此相關法規體系與規範內容的學習，是從事景觀專業之基礎。教學目標主要為：
1.瞭解基本的法學觀念及景觀專業人士執行業務的法律責任。
2.學習景觀專業執行中可能涉及之相關法規，透過法規體系、各法規規範內容及法規間之關聯性，及實務操作中之應用與解決方案，強化執業時之運用能力。
3.學習土地在開發利用上所受之管制、限制或管理工具，擴大規劃設計之思考面向。
4.學習透過從法令規範之角度思考與評斷，增加對事務評估之面向，及理性討論事情的習慣。

Each piece of land has its own identity and environmental conditions, which results in its corresponding permitted uses and controls. Therefore, the study of relevant legal systems and normative contents is the basis for engaging in the landscape profession. The main teaching objectives are:
1. Understand the basic legal concepts and the legal responsibilities of landscape professionals when performing their business.
2. Learn the relevant laws and regulations that may be involved in the implementation of the landscape profession, and strengthen the application ability in practice through the regulatory system, the content of each regulation and the correlation between regulations, as well as the applications and solutions in practical operations.
3. Learn the controls, restrictions or management tools imposed on land development and utilization, and expand the thinking aspects of planning and design.
4. Learn to think and judge from the perspective of laws and regulations, increase the aspect of evaluating affairs, and develop the habit of discussing things rationally.
