本課程為暑期羅馬異地教學課程的先修課程，目的是讓同學在暑假之前，對所要去的羅馬、佛羅倫斯以及米蘭、威尼斯有初步的認識。本課程將從義大利城市的空間元素著手，藉著對城市空間的了解，進一步認識它們的文化，並針對當時生活的需求，如何影響都市及建築形式的發展作深入的探討。課程的進行將以講堂為主，學生的作業包括地圖描繪及資料收集，期望在學期結束前對所要參觀的城市與建築，收集到基本資料，作為暑假去義大利的參考。

3.作業包括：(1)地圖描繪(2)分組收集重要建築物建築圖面(3)重要建築物模型製作

This course is a prerequisite course for the summer Romanian teaching course. The purpose is to allow students to have a preliminary understanding of the Romans, Florence, Milan and Venice they are going to before the summer vacation. This course will start from the spatial elements of Italian cities, and through understanding urban space, we will further understand their culture and conduct in-depth discussions on how the needs of life at that time affect the development of cities and architectural forms. The course will be mainly lectures. The students' work includes map drawings and data collection. It is expected that before the end of the school period, they will collect basic information for the cities and buildings to be visited, as a reference for Italy during the summer vacation.
