2432 - 管弦樂法 Orchestration


教育目標 Course Target

"Fundamental Orchestration" 是一門大學部的學期課. 所有的學習由 score study 開始. 目標是裝備學生能看得懂, 聽得見, 並增加頭腦裏面的新曲目. 本課程主要的教材與組織方式是由授課者所提供的總譜以及指定書目上的內容為主. 開場是介紹各時代各種樂團的標準配器 (The History of Orchestra) 以及各家族樂器的基本發聲原理特性及演奏技巧 (Instrumentation), 再透過實際閱讀過去四百年具代表性的樂團總譜 (Score Study), 裝備學生具有閱讀管弦樂總譜最基本的能力. 並以不同配器為分類, 充實學生音聽的曲目. 曲目的選擇中在二十世紀中期以後至今, 並刻意提供音樂史課本尚未列入的代表性作曲家與其經典的作品. 為實現上述課程目標, 步驟如下: 1. instrumentation sheets: instrumentation, staging, specific instructions on scoring and performance 這個部分是由授課者所提供的實際總譜的 "instrumentation sheet". 制式的寫法建立於 18-19 世紀, 至20世紀開始帶入不同作曲者個別的配器組合, 記譜方法等. 2. score-reading excerpts: focus on instruments, instrumental combination, specific terminology/instructions 這個部分是由授課者所提供的譜例為主. 譜例依照 chronological order, 帶學生看從 Baroque 到現在的orchestral score. 3. instrumental families intro: textbook content, demo, examples/orchestral music excerpts 這個部分的主要參考資料是來自指定書目的解說與譜例. 除了 Samuel Adler 的書之外, Kent Kannan, Hector Berlioz (R. Strauss), 以及自由運用資源無限的 internet. 4. listening repertoire of four categories: symphonic orchestra. string quartet. woodwind/ brass combo, percussion ensemble combo 這個部分是由授課者所提供的 listening lists 為主. "Fundamental Orchestration" is a college department's course. All learning starts with score study. The goal is to install new tracks that students can understand, hear, and add new tracks in their heads. The main textbooks and organization methods of this course are mainly composed of the summary provided by the instructor and the contents of the designated books. The opening is the standard ornament for various music groups in various eras and the basic sounding principles of various musical instruments in each family. Characteristics and performance skills (Instrumentation), and through the actual reading of the representative group study of the past four hundred years, the installation students have the most basic ability to read orchestral summaries. They are classified by different orchestrations, A track that can be fully listened to by students. The selection of the tracks has been deliberately provided by representative composers and classic works that have not yet been included in the music history courses. To achieve the above course goals, the steps are as follows: 1. instrumentation sheets: instrumentation, staging, specific instructions on scoring and performance This part is the "instrumentation sheet" of the actual summary provided by the instructor. The writing method of the standard was established in the 18th to 19th century, and from the 20th century, it began to bring in the different orchestration combinations, recording methods, etc. 2. score-reading excerpts: focus on instruments, instrumental combination, specific terminology/instructions This part is mainly a sample provided by the instructor. The sample is based on the chronological order, which takes students to see from Baroque to the current orchestral score. 3. instrumental families intro: textbook content, demo, examples/orchestral music excerpts The main references in this section are explanations and examples from designated books. In addition to Samuel Adler's book, Kent Kannan, Hector Berlioz (R. Strauss), and the internet with unlimited free access to resources. 4. listening repertoire of four categories: symphonic orchestra. string quartert. woodwind/ brass combo, percussion ensemble combo This section is mainly listening lists provided by the instructor.
