了解膠彩具有的傳統意義及媒材之原始性，認知媒材製程與知識，以孰悉媒材作為基礎，加以當代文化之個人經驗，從中建立符合現代的表現方式。思考如何將傳統的材料，延續及展現當代之表現性，透過媒材選擇、演練實作，達到創作穩定性及作品語意的深刻表現。並藉由實驗與課題製作過程之討論，呈現個人思考，繪製過程中建立創作邏輯，意識製作過程與創作脈絡之重要性。Understand the traditional meaning and the originality of media, understand the process and knowledge of media, use the knowledge of media as the basis, and use the personal experience of contemporary culture to establish a modern expression method from it. 課程著重於膠彩媒材的廣泛應用，藉由介紹各種技法與素材的交互配合及演練，開發並擴充膠彩創作的領域。
