在全球化的狀態下，因為族群、性別、社區的多樣性增加，產生更多元的文化。台灣是個多元族群的社會，我們如何發揮多元文化社會的優勢，建構平等發展、共容共存的族群關係，而在社會工作專業從業人員，又如何因應多元社會所造成的改變，需要培養那些能力與素養，希望在本課堂能幫助學生在面對多元文化的情境中，能以更理解且多元觀點因應變動的社會。

In a state of globalization, as the diversity of ethnic groups, genders, and communities increases, more diverse cultures are produced. Taiwan is a multi-ethnic society. How do we leverage the advantages of a multi-cultural society to build inter-ethnic relations of equal development and coexistence? And how do social work professionals respond to the changes caused by a multi-ethnic society? We need to cultivate those abilities and qualities. We hope that this class can help students face multi-cultural situations and respond to a changing society with a better understanding and diverse perspectives.
