本課程的目的旨在使學生瞭解社會問題與社會工作之間的關係,具體如下:
1. 認識社會現象及其所產生的社會問題
2. 培養具有解決社會問題所需之理性、客觀的觀察、分析、理解及問題解決能力
3. 瞭解微觀(個人、家庭)、中間觀(組織、社區)與巨觀(制度、構造、社會整體等)因素相互影響的社會問題及其相對應的社會工作
4. 引領學生探索「最接近客觀事實」的真相之能力,以期務實地解決社會問題
依照上述的教學目標及內涵,在本課程中,主要以「電影賞析」與日本社會問題的「翻譯書籍閱讀、反思」之教學方式,使學生瞭解社會問題的成因,比較台灣與日本的社會問題之異同,並反思台灣的社會問題。繼而,引導學生應用所學過的社會工作概論之基礎知識,以「小組討論」的方式,思考如何解決與社會工作相關的社會問題之方法。
The purpose of this course is to enable students to understand the relationship between social issues and social work, as follows:
1. Understand social phenomena and the social problems that arise
2. Cultivate the rational and objective observation, analysis, understanding and problem solving skills required to solve social problems
3. Understand the social problems and their corresponding social work that affect micro-view (personal, family), middle-view (organization, community) and mega-view (system, structure, social overall, etc.) factors.
4. Lead students to explore the truth of "close to guest facts" in order to effectively solve social problems
According to the above teaching objectives and connotations, in this course, the teaching method of "movie analysis" and "translated book reading and reflection" of Japanese social problems is mainly used to enable students to understand the causes of social problems, compare the differences between Taiwan and Japan's social problems, and reflect on Taiwan's social problems. In addition, students are guided to apply the basic knowledge of the social work overview they have learned and think about how to solve social problems related to social work in the form of "group discussion".
社會問題的本質是「社會的」,也是「問題的」,本課程從鉅視面思考,希望能協助學生懂得如何對台灣社會問題有「事實瞭解」,基於理論有「原因分析」,並且偏重社會工作部分「實際面對」。
課程看重結構性的社會問題,掌握這一點是進行社會問題認識和分析的第一個起點。本課程對於「社會問題」的部分有四個核心問題需要討論:第一,什麼是社會問題?第二,是什麼將一個問題變成「社會(性)問題」?第三,社會問題的成因是什麼?第四,針對社會問題,人們可以有何作為?社會工作則是著重在瞭解社會問題之後如何應用社會工作知能和方法於各個實務工作場域。
因此,培養學生敏銳觀察分析社會問題的能力及學習將之運用於社會工作實務上,是本課程的期許和目標。
The essence of social problems is "social" and "problem". This course is thought from a personal perspective, hoping to help students understand how to have a "factual understanding" of social problems in Taiwan, based on theoretical analysis, and focus on "in-personality" of social work.
The course focuses on structural social problems, and mastering this is the first starting point for social problem recognition and analysis. This course has four core issues that need to be discussed in the "Social Questions" section: First, what is a social question? Second, what turns a problem into a "social (sex) problem"? Third, what are the causes of social problems? Fourth, what can people do when it comes to social problems? Social work focuses on how to apply social work knowledge and methods in various practical work areas after understanding social problems.
Therefore, it is the duration and goal of this course to cultivate students' ability to observe and analyze social problems and apply their learning to social work.
