課程介紹：在一個科技加速、社會變遷加速、生活節奏加速的加速社會中，舊的地圖上找不到新的道路。趨勢指向未來時間、轉變所在、變化方向、新趨動力、當下診斷和未來預測。如何掌握趨勢，探索出適合自己的路？本課程規劃14場重要議題演講，協助妳前瞻重要社會趨勢。
講座緣起：賀榮貞女士（1922-2022），燕京大學家政系畢業，隨國民政府流離台灣，曾任東海大學校長英文秘書等職，並在社會學系兼課。賀榮貞女士依親赴美定居後，常感念「人生因東海大學而精采」，子女李琪、李瑋姊弟秉承庭訓，捐贈東海大學社會學系設立練馬可社會學講座、賀榮貞趨勢講座及大專生專題研究獎助學金，期勉學系學生勇於跨域探索、勿以學科自囿。

Course introduction: In an accelerated society with accelerated technology, accelerated social changes, and accelerated life rhythm, no new path can be found on the old map. Trends point to the future time, where the change is, the direction of change, new trends, current diagnosis and future prediction. How to master the trend and explore a path that suits you? This course plans 14 important topics to help you look forward to important social trends.
The lecture was held: Ms. Joseph Rong (1922-2022), graduated from the Housekeeping Department of Yanjing University, and left Taiwan with the National Government. She served as the English Secretary of the President of Donghai University and other positions, and also had a part-time lecture in the Department of Social Sciences. After relied on his stay in the United States, Ms. Joseph often remembered that "life is brilliant because of Donghai University." Her children, Li Qi and Li Wei, followed the court and donated to the Department of Social Sciences of Donghai University to establish a training session for the Make Social Sciences, Celebration Trends and College Students' Special Research Awards. She hopes that the department students will be brave in cross-domain exploration and do not confine themselves by their subjects.
