經濟學係現代工商業社會所必備的知識，因人們慾望無限，而可用資源卻相對有限，故如何選擇，才可獲得最大滿足、最大利潤或報酬率，以及最有效率的資源配置等，皆為理性者所關切。本課程旨在於探討個體的選擇行為，包括消費者行為、不確定性與消費者行為、廠商生產理論與成本分析、利潤極大化與競爭供給、競爭市場分析等。使學生對經濟決策、經濟活動與經濟制度有進一步的認知。課程將採適當之圖形及數學分析工具，闡述各種經濟理論架構，並結合分析日常生活相關的經濟議題。期使兼顧理論與實務、經濟學生活化，使學生對自己生活及社會發展，多一份理性智慧與判斷能力。

The knowledge necessary for economics and modern business society is that people have unlimited desires and relatively limited resources available, so how to choose to obtain the maximum satisfaction, maximum profit or return rate, and the most efficient resource allocation are all of the most important things for rational people. This course aims to explore individual selection behaviors, including consumer behavior, indetermination and consumer behavior, manufacturer production theory and cost analysis, profitability and competitive supply, competitive market analysis, etc. Enable students to further understand economic decisions, economic activities and economic systems. The course will adopt appropriate graphics and mathematical analysis tools to describe various economic theory structures and combine economic issues related to daily life. In order to make the theory and practice, economic life more rational and intelligent, students can develop more rational wisdom and judgment skills in their lives and social development.
