本課程希望以工程觀點介紹基礎生物學,使化工系學生了解生物學與化學工程結合應用的基本概念,學習進入生物技術領域基本知識,介紹如何藉由工程與生物結合,擴展化學工程在醫藥、食品、環保、農牧業等的應用。在生物技術課程中,提供了應用於生物技術的各項基礎科學,其中包括: 基礎生物學、分子生物學、生化工程學、微生物應用和基因重組等各個領域
